Three steps, in this order.
The only step people get wrong is the driver. Do it first.
- Install the official GoXLR drivers on Windows. The Utility replaces the GoXLR App, not the driver. On Linux, run the udev rules that ship with the package.
- Download
goxlr-utility-1.2.4.zipand extract it anywhere you keep apps. Nothing writes to a registry hive you can’t see. - Launch GoXLR Utility and pick your device. Profiles from the official app are read straight from the same folder.
Closing the window does not stop the mixer. The Utility keeps running in the tray and talks to the GoXLR over USB — nothing is sent anywhere else.
